First edition, tex in German. Hardcover with dustjacket and protective acetate with the book’s name printed on it. Two original lithographic prints by Delvaux printed by Mourlot Freres. Double-page dustjacket and frontispiece are lithographs. The book is illustrated throughout with good quality colour and black&white reproductions of the graphic works of Paul Delvaux (1897-1994).
Condition of the book is good. Lithographic covers are flawless. The protective acetate is torn from the spine. Previous owner inscription on the title page, otherwise the book is internally clean. No stains, markings or tears.
