Interesting celestial chart from the beginning of the 18th century by Italian cosmographer and cartographer Vincenzo Maria Coronelli.
The chart consists of one main planisphere in the middle, surrounded by several other diagrams describing astronomical and astrological phenomena.
Copperplate engraving with two sheets combined together.
The two sheets are slightly of different tone. Upper sheet is bright, lower a bit age-toned.
Upper sheet has few very small brown spots in the image.
Lower sheet has been partly restored from the verso, reinforced along the centrefold and bottom margin.
