Original hand-coloured stipple-engraving from 1830s. Very good condition.

Redouté was a Flemish botanist and artist who became famous for his beautiful and detailed flower-paintings.

Especially his rose watercolours have been highly appreciated and in 1790s he became the favorite of the French Royal court.
